Free Play
Free play involves any kind of unstructured activity that encourages children to use their imagination, such as playing with blocks, dolls, and toy cars. Free play gives children an outlet to express their emotions and feelings and helps them develop a sense of who they are
Group Activities
Group time is an opportunity for the class of children to be introduced to new concepts and ideas, share in learning experiences, to talk together and collaborate. Group time is also a way to create a sense of belonging and togetherness within the class. (Teamwork)

Outdoor play is a great way to model the joy of physical activity. When children run, jump, climb, throw and kick balls, and ride toys that require balance, they also build gross motor skills and start developing a habit of being active.
